In true 80s spirit; I’m going backpacking in Europe. With the December-January darkness and coldness, I had to have something to look forward to this spring, and backpacking has always been a dream of mine. When I found cheap tickets to Spain in the middle of May I had to take the chance and I feel so excited!
For ∼3 weeks I’ll be going around southern Spain, exploring adorable villages, eating amazing tapas, and practising Spanish. As we speak I’m diving into budgeting, cities, bus vs. train, and how long I should stay in each city. My control issues are being silly but at the same time I’m super thrilled about this! Perfect start of the summer, and perfect pre-college experience!
I hope you’ll follow me on this journey, and that you’ll give me any tips you have.
I found this on a fountain at Puerta del Sol in Madrid and absolutely loved it
On another note, at the end of this week I’ll be introducing a way to beat the “I can’t do this”-thought that can pop up into your head at the most inconvenient times.. so stay tuned!
